In the claustrophobic jungle conditions encountered in the Far East, lighter support weapons became hugely useful for patrolling and small-scale engagements. Gurkha forces made good use of all available equipment to magnify their firepower, and the relative portability of light support weapons made them omnipresent throughout the war.
This box gives you a trio of incredibly useful support weapon teams, perfect for filling out a Gurkha Rifle Platoon. The Boys anti-tank rifle lets your troops engage light armour from a distance, while the 2″ light mortar team rains high explosives from on high, and the sniper team stalks through the jungle, hunting high value targets.
